Our Board

Manny Ortega - President

Manny enhances the retirement years of seniors by providing more and better services. His background includes Administrator, Senior Volunteer Patrol (12 years), San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, Fallbrook Station. Board President, Fallbrook Senior Center, Tax Aide Counselor with AARP for seniors, Committee Member for Avocado Festival, Christmas Parade, Keep Fallbrook Clean and Green, Veterans Day Parade, Health Fair, Safe Halloween and is a VFW member.

He is a retired Naval Officer (twenty one years). He has a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.

He is married, has two daughters and two grandsons.

 
 

Sue Wallace- 1st Vice President

Sue has agreed to be the Fallbrook Senior Center Board Treasurer for the year 2014.

Sue was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and she was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She is currently a member of the Board of Directors at the Fallbrook Senior Center.  She has lived in Fallbrook for sixteen years.  Prior to her appointment to the Board of Directors, Sue worked for an electronics distributing company for 20 years. 

Sue is married and she has four children and five grandchildren.  Sue travels a lot, and she enjoys golfing, reading, and playing cards.  Sue has worked at the Fallbrook Senior Center for several years.
 

Carole Parker - Treasurer

Carole spent her career years as a systems engineer/computer programmer/data analyst working mainly on defense programs. Since retirement in Fallbrook, she keeps busy with family, volunteer work and just "having fun".

She first became acquainted with the Senior Center as a tax preparer working with AARP Tax Aide and has been a member since.

 
 

Carmen Cervantes- Secretary

Carmen has lived in Fallbrook since 1967 after she married her husband, David. She has worked in Social Services most of her life and retired from San Diego County of Social Services. .

She was instrumental in having the FSC funded in the early 1970's when she was working with Tom Owen. They wrote the first proposal to the County of San Diego and to her surprise it was granted. 

Carmen was serving on the FSC Board when her husband got sick and she had to take a leave of absence. She has served in many different capacities around Fallbrook and would like theopportunity to serve on the FSC Board of Directors.
 

Kathy Campbell

Kathy has been a volunteer at the Fallbrok Senior Center for several years. She has lived in Fallbrook since 1975 and was Manager at St. Johns Thrift Shop for eighteen years. She worked for The Communications Division at TRW for two years and before that at Wooldridge and Ramo company in Inglewood for three years. Kathy also worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a bookkeeper and for the Chief Chemist as secretary for ten years.

Her favorite past times are gardening, reading and volunteering.

 

Irma Ciotti - Programs

Irma attended Washington Hospital School of Nursing and Washington and Jefferson College and graduated with a degree in Nursing. she has further earned certifications in X-Ray, Spirometry, Audiology, Recored Keeping and many more. Her early career was working in the Emergency room and Labor and Delivery. She later successfylly transitioned into the field of Occupational Health Possessing powerful knledge of OSHA Compliance, medical record keeping and safety regulations and physical exams. .

Prior to her retirement, she spent 15 years working for Ford Motor company in the capacity of Senior Nurse. The site had 3 plants with a payroll of approximately 3000 employees. She was responsible for overseeing teh everyday operation of the medical departments (4)and functioned as a liaison between uppermanagement and department heads ensuring lines of communication. .

She moved to Fallbrook with her husband, Frank, in 2002. she joined the Newcomers, Encore and the Fallbrook Woman's Club. She was board member at the Woman's club and was teh Rental Chairperson for several years. She has also been a board member and President of the Rancho Fallbrook HOA where she currently lives. .

She is a member of the Semior Center and has volunteered in the Thrift Store for the past several years.

Gigi Wiebach - Programs

Gigi Wiebach was born in Koblenz, Germany. She and her husband Jo moved from Germany to the beautiful United States in December 1956. They live in Newport Beach and raised four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Gigi has nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. In 1972 they move to Fallbrook and she continuted to be very active in the kids schools and the scouts. They were drawn to Fallbrook because of all the trees (no asphalt jungle). The kids all graduated from Fallbrook High and are all doing well. Her husband Jo passed away after a long illness in 1997. She has remarried and continues to live in Fallbrook.
