Susie Gonsalves -Operations Manager

Originally from Michigan, Susie joined the Senior Center early in 2012 as office administrator.

She has been a resident of Fallbrook since 2000. Susie works full time at the Fallbrook Senior Center in the office performing all Operations duties.  These duties include all scheduling events and helping seniors in their activities conducted at the Senior Center.

Her official area of responsibilities entail the Senior Nutrition Program, Senior Recreational Programs and the overall management of the Fallbrook, CA Senior Center.

She looks forward to seeing you, when you come by the office.

 

Phyllis Sweeney - Special Projects Manager

She has been a Fallbrook resident for over thirty years.  She is currently Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and an active member of the Fallbrook Fire Safe Council. Phyllis recieved the Channel 10 Leadership Award,Soroptimist Distinguished Woman fo the Year Award and the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award.

Phyllis is a certified Grief Counselor, Senior Advisor and Personality Coach. She has her own counseling business which includes working with seniors. Phyllis believes community and business encourages our society to appreciate the value of both.  Phyllis is a Board Member of the Fallbrook Chamber Of Commerce.

Her official duties in the new position are Seeking Grants, Fund Raising, Heading Special Projects that will generate income for the Fallbrook Senior Center.

 

 

Barbara Duenow - Administrative Assistant


Barbara was born and raised in Torrance, California.  She is currently Administrative Assistant at the Fallbrook Senior Center.  She has lived in Fallbrook for one year.  Prior to her appointment as Fallbrook Senior Center Administrative Assistant, Barbara worked for a Title Company; earlier, a San Diego-based company, Tri-ad, with an office in Escondido, employed her.  Barbara has one child and she has 10 stepchildren; she also has one grandchild.  Barbara enjoys walking and yoga.  She has worked at the Fallbrook Senior Center since 2013.


  

 

 

 

 

 

Rodolfo Pedroza - Chef

Rodolfo was born and raised in Mexico.  He serves the Fallbrook Senior Center in a staff capacity:  He is the chef in the kitchen, preparing and serving lunches for the seniors.  He has worked at the Fallbrook Senior Center for thirteen years, and he has lived in Fallbrook for 34 years.  

Prior to being employed as the Fallbrook Senior chef, Rodolfo was a restaurant chef in Fallbrook for 15 years.  He is married, has two children and five grandchildren.  He enjoys walking, working out at the gym, playing basketball, and swimming.
